What to expect
Anyone can read a code. A code tells you which circuit reported a problem, not which part failed. We charge $40 for a full diagnostic and we spend that time testing, not guessing.
When to come in
Check engine light on or flashing, a rough idle, a misfire, poor fuel economy, or a car that failed inspection on emissions. A flashing light means stop driving it and call us.
Not sure? Call the shop and describe it. We would rather spend two minutes on the phone than have you drive on something that should not wait.
